9th June Presentation by Debbie Peel and Stephanie

Debbie Peel who worked for Marks and Spencers as their "Wine expert" for 10 years, came along as an independent with her friend Stephanie and entertained us with a call my bluff style presentation.

They treated us to 6 carefully selected wines. 1 sparkling - cava, 1 rose, 2 white and 2 reds.

Fun evening in sweltering conditions 34c. I think just as much water was consumed as wine.

Last visited us in November 2025. She is co-proprietor of The Maid of Kent wine bar in Tonbridge High Street and she will be talking to us about some of the wines which she sells in the wine bar which largely come from small producers in Spain and Italy.
