2025 Spring Park Wine Circle Programme

• 09/01/25	Marein Overbeeke Sip Happens .....Let us celebrate 2025 with great wines.	A regular speaker to SPWC, sadly this will be Marein’s last presentation as he will be moving to Lincolnshire. He promises his finale will prove to be an entertaining evening.
  13/02/25	AGM followed by a presentation from Martyn & Catrine ‘Drinking With The Stars’	AGM including election of committee for next 12 months & the opportunity for members to ask questions regarding the functioning of the club. The AGM will be followed by an internal presentation with a very interesting theme.
  13/03/25	Wines of Roussillon with Lits Philippou	It is a number of years since wine educator Lits was last with us. He makes a welcome return offering us the chance to taste some delicious French wines.
  10/04/25	Sparkle & Spirit with Carrie Winton	One of our most popular speakers, Carrie will be presenting a variety of wines with the opportunity to purchase them on the night.
  08/05/25	Shall I Compare Thee........? Talk/Tasting with Tony Cavey	Always one for coming up with original themes, Tony will be comparing terroir and blended wines.

  14/08/25	Wines of Italy with Eleanor Cogill	A new speaker to the SPWC, Eleanor is a university lecturer but also has a passion for wines.
  11/09/25	Andrew Thompson assisted by Richard Tew	This is a talk with a difference. Andrew will be telling us about his life as a cartographer preparing maps for wine books including the 20 years he spent working with Oz Clare. Richard Tew will be describing the wines we will be tasting on the night mainly relating to regions covered by Andrew's maps.
  09/10/25	English wines with Bob Shambler	Making his debut as an internal presenter, Bob will be entertaining us with a selection of English wines from vineyards throughout the country.
  13/11/25	Teresa Seamer - The Maid of Kent, Tonbridge	Another first time speaker, Teresa owns & operates "The Maid of Kent" wine bar in Tonbridge
